"Peggy" is designed after the cheerleader in the book, who is designed after my Mom, my biggest Cheerleader. Vicki Riley, Owner and Designer of Dinky Baby.com has done a beautiful job of creating “Peggy” for me. “Peggy” is a 15” soft sculptured doll that has removable hair, so she also loses her hair and becomes bald like so many survivors going through chemo. Not only does she lose her hair, but she is here to remind anyone we love who is going through this terrible disease to fight and cheer themselves on, or you can do it for them. Buy a book, make the doll “Peggy” and share the love with someone you cherish who might be going through this disease and together we can make someone a little happier!!
"Peggy" is also featured in the music video “Power”. The music video is an upbeat video about two survivors who meet, become friends, support each other, move forward and give back. In the video you will see Amber Jean (she is an actress, and thankfully does not have cancer, as does all our other real survivors in the video) receive the doll as a gift from Debbie our real survivor who is giving back. Please watch the video and see how beautiful "Peggy" really is!! The video is to the music of KT Tunstall, “Suddenly I See”.
